Installation Instructions:
- Remove the old gasket material from the stove door using a scraper or putty knife.
- Clean the area where the new gasket will be installed with a brush or vacuum cleaner.
- Cut the new gasket to the appropriate length for your stove door, allowing for some overlap.
- Apply a bead of high-temperature silicone adhesive to the groove around the stove door where the gasket will be installed.
- Press the gasket firmly into place, making sure it is centered and snugly fitting into the groove.
- Allow the silicone adhesive to dry according to manufacturer’s instructions before using your wood stove again.
Note: It is recommended to replace your stove door gasket annually or as needed to ensure maximum efficiency and safety of your wood burning appliance.
