Abstract:
This paper presents a Java-based web application that monitors job opportunities in the IT industry. The application uses web scraping techniques to extract data from various job boards and company websites, and provides users with a centralized platform to search and apply for job openings. In addition, the application includes features such as personalized job recommendations based on user profiles, resume uploading and editing capabilities, and alerts for new job postings that match user preferences.
Introduction:
The rapid growth of the IT industry has led to an increase in demand for skilled professionals. However, finding suitable job opportunities can be a time-consuming and daunting task, especially when there are multiple job boards and company websites to monitor. To address this challenge, we have developed a Java-based web application that streamlines the process of searching for IT jobs.
Methodology:
The web application uses Java as its programming language and is built using the Spring framework. Web scraping techniques are used to extract data from various job boards such as Indeed.com and Monster.com, as well as company websites including Google and Microsoft. The extracted data is then stored in a database using MySQL.
