Logistic regression analysis indicated no significant link between H. pylori infection and LSMM among Chinese women undergoing physical examinations (OR=1.149, 95% CI 0.904-1.459, P=0.257). Nonetheless, an examination of age groups per Table 3 demonstrated a noteworthy correlation between H. pylori infection status and LSMM in females aged ≥40 years old (OR=1.381, 95%CI 1.032-1.848, P = 0.030). This association remained statistically significant even after adjusting for several factors such as Age, BMI, TP, ALK, Cre (OR=1.514, 95%CI 1.085-2.113, P = 0.015).
