The samples were clustered into five classes using PCA; four principal components accounted for a cumulative variance contribution of 92.531%. Seven differential markers can be used to distinguish between different batches through OPLS-DA.

According to comprehensive scores, Hangzhou was selected as the best origin for angelica dahurica. The HPLC fingerprinting method along with content measurement methods for these six components are exclusive, accurate, and reliable. Combined with chemical pattern identification analysis, they provide new ideas and methods for quality evaluation and rapid classification of angelica dahurica.”
