kubectl exec -it --

This command allows you to execute a command inside a running container within a pod.

kubectl exec: This command is used to execute commands on a running pod.

-it: The -it flag is used to run the command interactively in the terminal. It enables us to see the output of the command and interact with it if necessary.

<pod_name>: Specify the name of the pod where we want to execute the command.

--: This is used to separate kubectl options from arguments.

<command>: This specifies the command that you want to execute inside the container.

Example:

kubectl exec -it my-pod -- /bin/bash

This will open a bash shell inside the my-pod.
